There are a relatively small number of individuals in the business aviation community that have transformed themselves from the cockpit to the boardroom successfully. Daniel Lucey is one of those people, having crafted his aviation career around three basic principles: people, planning and process.
With more than twenty years of industry experience, Dan's efforts focus on profitable business strategies and solid business fundamentals for long-term growth while ensuring safety and service quality remains at the highest levels in the industry. In addition to his role as President, he also is a member of the FlightWorks board of directors.
Dan has a career path that is rare among aviation leaders. He spent a decade with NetJets, garnering five type ratings and 11,000 hours of accident and incident free flight time. His career at NetJets culminated with his assignment to Chief Pilot at the age of 33, where he was responsible for over 2,000 pilots and 400 aircraft. In addition, Dan created the aircraft management division for Flight Options, where he served as the General Manager of Aircraft Management Programs.
Dan's education includes a B.S. degree in Aviation Management and Flight Technology with honors from the Florida Institute of Technology. In addition, he earned his MBA from Franklin University and was elected a Leadership Scholar as the top student in his class. He is also an active business aviation advocate, serving on several board of directors, participating in numerous aviation related associations and serving as an FAA ARC committee member.

Bill Lewis serves as Chief Financial Officer for FlightWorks. Mr. Lewis’s
career includes twenty-five years of senior financial management
experience, primarily assisting medium-sized companies successfully
transition through periods of rapid growth and development.
Prior to joining FlightWorks, Mr. Lewis was the Director of
Finance for the online bill payment leader, CheckFree Corporation.
He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from Jacksonville
University and is a certified CPA.

As Chief Sales Officer for Flightworks, Ron Smith, provides strategic and operational leadership for the company’s Commercial and Government revenue growth, including domestic and international market expansion, managed aircraft opportunities, strategic government contracts, charter sales, corporate marketing and customer service. He is responsible for key partnership development , joint ventures and strategic alliances. Mr. Smith brings over 25 years of accomplished sales, marketing and business development experience.
Before joining FlightWorks, Mr. Smith served as Vice President, Sales & Marketing, for AFGD Inc. where he directed the architectural glass industry’s largest sales organization. In addition, he served as Vice President of Sales for Pacesetter Steel. Mr. Smith graduated from East Tennessee State University and is active in several industry and community organizations.

HECHT |

Larry Hecht, FlightWorks' Chief Operating Officer, is responsible for professional standards, regulatory compliance, and management of FlightWorks flight crews. He develops and audits operational standards, implements all required crew training programs and ensures adherence to long-term safety standards. Mr. Hecht holds an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with type ratings in the Challenger 604, Learjet 60, Learjet 20, 30 & 50 and Citation 500 series aircraft. In addition, Mr. Hecht has accumulated over 14,000 hours of incident and accident free flying and has served as an FAA Designated Pilot Examiner and Check Airman. Mr. Hecht has held the positions of Director of Flight Operations, Aviation Department Manager, Chief Pilot and Senior Captain with major corporations. Mr. Hecht represents FlightWorks as a member of Sentient's Safety Board, partnered with former members of the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB).
